FC-2 Advance First Responder Kit (AFRK)
The Field Care (FC-2) Kit enables the immediate treatment of multiplecasualties at the point of injury and augments the use of IFAKs at thesmall unit level. FC-2 contains a large number of medical componentsused to treat several common trauma conditions including mass hemorrhage, chestinjuries and fractures.
FC-2 Module provides the capability for 1 and/or 2 operators to carry 1 casualty. The kit will also include additional initial TCCC medical supplies to augment the basic first aid provided with Field Care Kit I.
The Advanced First Responder Kit enables the Advanced First Responder or higher to treat massive hemorrhage, airway management, tension pneumothorax, hypothermia, minor wounds, basic burns, extremity fractures, abdominal injuries, and acute soft tissue injuries.
