CSWB-2U, Cold Stored Whole Blood 2Unit Container

The Golden MinuteContainer is an ultra-lite solution that can transport twounits of whole blood, dismounted maintaining cold chainfor 24hours, requiring no external power. We have integrated the GoldenMinute TIC into a foam lined Pelican 1400 case for high shock and vibration environments.

Operationally tested and fielded to USSOCM unitsand Norwegian SOF.This is a product that Bloodstone members designed starting in 2010.With the help from Pelican BioThermal, COL Miles, COL Strandenes, Dr B. Blankenship, and a year of running the first containers in my pack in Tampa, FL we were able to validate the performance of this new product. Getting two units of cold stored whole blood in a form factor so that it could be carried on target was my goal.

The Golden MinuteContainer can be carried in its own nylon assault carrier, externally on body armor, internally in a Med Bag, and can also be configured to hang on a our PJ Sustainment Panel.
